early adopters? Are there issues related to subject-based archives as
opposed to institutional-based archives? Is metadata based on DC simple
(mandated by OAI) adequate? What other formats might be used? How much
do metadata requirements differ between communities, and is cross-community
interoperability desirable? What about the partitioning of archives? What
about an e-print application profile?
